Golden Bay Beach Hotel

A highly recommended Hotel!

Pros: The warmth in our bedroom and comfy feeling with a tidy bedroom, bathroom and nice balcony with beautiful plants. Nice overlooking view of the beach 🏖️ 🌊💓

Very comfortable and with delightfully helpful staff, I would stay there on my next visit

Pros: Our stay was during the quiet season so the hotel occupancy was light. The staff were attentive and helpful. Checking in was a delight with the receptionist giving us a very nice welcome and explained all we needed to know. Breakfast was amazing with a huge choice. Only one restaurant was open, which is understandable given it was low season and the service and food was good, however, we found it to be a bit expensive for what it was but that is probably an unfair comparison against the tavernas that we ate at. Very spacious lounge area was perfect place to relax in. We got help at all times for things like where to go, eat and also car hire. Cons: Nothing comes to mind

Pros: Although the hotel is a bit older, it is very well maintained. We had an all-inclusive stay and were very pleased with the meals — very good and high quality. The staff were very friendly, our room was recently renovated, and the location is very good, close to restaurants and a supermarket. There is a bus to the airport right in front of the hotel

Cons: The lack of a heated pool was a downside. Although we were told there was an indoor heated pool, it did not work during the first few days and was only heated after a few days. The outdoor pool is not heated either, which is a major minus.

Hotel stay over the festive period

Pros: This hotel has a beautiful setting by the beach. I was there to celebrate my birthday and wedding anniversary. I was greeted with a lovely card and bottle of bubbly, which was a nice touch. My family had a comfortable stay: the staff was pleasant, the food at the Yacht Club was enjoyable, and I had spa treatments and an archery lesson that were really good.

Cons: We arrived late afternoon, but there didn't seem to be any concierge to offer help with our luggage (which I would expect of a 5*). The rooms we got had a nice layout, but the entire space needed a full refurbishment.

I did enjoy my stay at the hotel. The service quality was extremely nice and first class.

Pros: Breakfasts were really good. Great variety of different type of food and dishes on demand (omelettes etc.)

Cons: The hotel isn't exactly new. Some of the features are clearly worn. For the price, I expected something better.

Pros: Lovely staff, beds were so comfortable, clean, tidy, beautiful hotel.

Cons: Not very much to do in the area.

Overall it was a really good experience.

Pros: Great worth for your money, the hotel is beautiful and the scenery is nice. There’s a good pool and the beach is a step away. Two tennis courts. The staff is helpful and most are friendly. The dinner at the restaurant is nice.

Cons: - The full board is actually just food which was annoying. You have to pay for all of your drinks. - The pillows are not comfortable at all.

I definitely recommend it!

Pros: I stayed at the hotel for one night. The staff and services were excellent. Breakfast was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The beach was next to the hotel and its peaceful and beautiful. The Hotel is accessible establishment with sustainability certification. We were delighted with the fruit plate and wine sent to my room at night. It was just what we needed. Since we arrived late and looked tired, I think they noticed this and made us happy. I'd like to thank them for that. This is hospitality!

Pros: Everything was very nice, perfect location by the beach.
