A relaxing weekend

Pros: Almost everything but on top of everything the live music at night made our trip unforgetable.the singers voice, instrument playing , and the musicians connection with the guests were perfect.

Cons: I cannot find a negative point. I definitely go there again.

We loved our stay and we will be back.

Pros: This was our third visit to Forest Park for my partners birthday. The location is exceptional, our room was perfect, breakfast and dinner very good with a varied menu. We understand the hotel will be refurbished at some point but we hope it will retain its charm.

Very enjoyable. Lovely staff. Given a warm welcome. Couldn’t ask for more.

Pros: It had character! Clearly areas were in need of a revamp but that was countered by the quirkiness of the property. The food was very good - had lunch, a la carte dinner & breakfast. Very good food.

Cons: I was disappointed that the pool area had closed - we were there at the end of September when it was certainly still warm enough to sunbathe.

Great classic hotel in very special setting!

Pros: Brilliant classic hotel, in beautiful setting. Excellent beds and big room, with a great terrace. Very good breakfast, and great value for money. Dinner in hotel restaurant is pretty basic but adequate.

Cons: There are probably more exciting dinner restaurants around, with more choice. But nothing at all to complain about as regards room, bed, setting or access. Lovely hotel!

Pros: The hotel has its own history and climate. It is a little bit magical and a little bit scary. While reserving stay there you must know that. Big plus is a good breakfast and a nice hotel restaurant, better than the restaurants in the town.
