Croatia 🇭🇷

Pros: Location was really great for us, just what we wanted. Everything was very clean, and we had everything what we needed. Host was as well great.

Perfect location for the wine route, or accessing Pissouri Bay, which was our purpose for diving.

Pros: The Olive Tree House is in a superb location, in a very pretty and welcoming village. We were given a tour of the facilities and guest areas by the host. The house has been very tastefully designed and decorated; the garden is quite fascinating and next time we stay, we will spend longer. There is a very pleasant pool, which was very welcome after a long drive and extremely hot day. Lovely room touches, of refreshments, tea-making, fridge etc.

Cons: The only thing I would prefer, is to have mugs for a big cup of tea, rather than small cup and saucer.. I should have remembered to bring my rooibos tea bags - next time!

Pros: We were looking for a nice quiet place, far from the city noise and we found it at Olive Tree House. Beautiful village house with one of a kind interior carefully curated by Samantha, every detail is taken care of and brings a smile. Adorable garden with olive trees and many cute corners to sit down and relax, beautiful pool. Amazing taverna on the village square serving local food with a special twist. It is perfect for a weekend getaways.

Heerlijk

Pros: De kamer en vooral het zonnige balkon en uitzicht, inclusief de tuin en veel verder weg de bergen en de zee, was heerlijk. Ook hele aardige hosts.

Cons: Niks eigenlijk, we hebben bijgeboekt. Wel goed om te weten dat de kamer zonder balkon eigenlijk nauwelijks / geen uitzicht heeft, dus we zijn wel geswitcht naar een lekkerdere kamer. En, met dit winterweer, is t zwembad leeg. Logisch ook, het is ook koud om te zwemmen maar toch vanuit Nederland konden we dat niet goed inschatten.

We had a great time, and will be back, for sure!

Pros: We liked the very friendly welcome, and the very helpful recommendations for places to have dinner. The property is newly-renovated to a very high standard, and the grounds and swimming pool were a real treat! The room was spacious, very quiet for the night, and well-appointed.
