Apokryfo Traditional Guesthouse

Located at the edge of the picturesque village of Lofou, in the foothills of Mount Olympus, Apokryfo is a stone-built guesthouse offering boutique accommodation. Nice hotel with very kind staff, but the room cleanliness did not match the high price.

Pros: The reception was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lady in the kitchen was especially kind to the children. The traditional breakfast was satisfactory and suited the style of the mountain stone hotel.

Cons: The room did not fully meet my expectations for the price paid. There was a dead worm in the room, cobwebs on the ceiling, and the double bed had two single blankets instead of one proper double.

Pros: Very authentic and beautiful magical place.. Very near to town center.. Comfortable bed.. Amazing architecture...

Cons: Pillows are a little dusty.. Lobby and restaurant with a fire place is great but closed after 10pm... If it was open we can spend some time around the fire place.... Aliittle expensive according to places around..

This place is exceptional. Wonderfully calm and tranquil. The perfect stopping place to recharge your batteries

Pros: Such a tranquille place to spend a few nights. It’s clear to see that so much thought and love has been put into the design (interior and exterior) of this stylish place. Above all the staff were wonderful. In particular Joseph was so welcoming and professional.

Cons: It’s difficult to find any fault, but my only disappointment was that the pool was not heated and very cold so it was not possible to use it (no one swam during our stay)

Very warm and friendly place in a medieval village

Pros: The breakfast was excellent! It was well presented and plenty of good food.

Cons: All was very good! Our only problem was in finding the location of the guesthouse because it of small roads in a medieval town.

Beautiful location away from the main tourist areas

Pros: Beautiful property - set in a very picturesque village (sadly recently ravaged by wild fire which reached almost to the front of the hotel). Staff were very pleasant and helpful

Cons: Nothing but we were in the corner house and the living room was on one floor with the bedroom below but that was reached by a very narrow spiral staircase which might be difficult for young or elderly guests.

Nice relaxing stay in Lofou

Pros: Very beautiful place, excellent food, and wonderful service! We stayed in the Corner house and it was very quiet and the decoration was really nice. We would come back with pleasure to stay at Apokryfo in this charming village.
