Village Charm with Pool Apartment at Skarinou

Charming and relaxing stay

Pros: The apartment we recently stayed was lovely, clean, and well equipped for a weekend stay. The private pool, while needing a bit more maintenance, was still a refreshing feature. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Clean and comfortable

Pros: The staff who take care of the apartment are very friendly and helpful. The pool and sitting areas are well taken care of. The apartment is clean, comfortable and spacious, the furniture and appliances are modern, beds are ok. Both bedrooms have their own air conditioners. The location is peaceful, but requires a car. The motorway is nearby (we were not disturbed by the noise), so it is convenient to move in all directions from the apartment. There is a large grocery store nearby.

Cons: We would have hoped instructions for example, waste/recycling, how the shower works, where to put the toilet paper (trash bin/toilet bin). The kitchen has good basic equipment, but especially for a longer stay you would need a little more, even a drying rack and/or a dish towel would be useful. Contrary to the presentation, there is no microwave oven in the apartment, although there is a regular oven. You cannot contact the owner directly, but contact is handled through an intermediary service. The answer comes quickly, although it may be a bit impersonal.

Pros: Clean 5*, nice view. Overall very good value for £.

Good choice, would stay again

Pros: Great location for driving to nearby sights and villages. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Every apartment has its own outdoor seating area. The communal grounds and pool are well maintained.

Cons: Big bright white street light shone right into the bedroom all night every night… the window only had a sheer white curtain. No bathmat. No dish rack or extra towels.

Wonderful choice for a relaxing vacation

Pros: I stayed for 20 days and it was a wonderful choice. Great apartment with a mountain view (the village is on a hill). Fast Wi-Fi - great for working remotely. The pool is cleaned daily and the lemon tree near the pool is just perfect. I enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the terrace. The apartment is cozy, spacious and comfortable - you have everything you need for a relaxing vacation. There is a big supermarket nearby. The village is close to Larnaka and to the old town of Pano Lefkara. Note: For hot water, turn the switch on near the electrical panel.
