Lovely stay in Larnaca

Pros: - comfy bed and couch, - lots of equipment, - large tv, fridge, - large bathroom and balcony, - parking below the building, - checkin/out instructions, - how clean it was, - decent quality furniture, - washing machine. I was also skeptical about the 200€ damage deposit, but I see why it was needed, the apartment was in near perfect condition.

Cons: - shower drain had a smell sometimes, - outside was a bit smelly due to trash (only sometimes in the morning and night)

Nice but demanding some care.

Pros: Nice, well equipedd, cofortable . Big, nice, furnished and roofed terrace. Parking place under the building. There is a supermarket in the vicinity.

Cons: Unbearable stink from the shower drain. It could be smelled in the whole apartment - especially on entering it. Fiiling the drain with water didn't help. In general the apartment could be cleaner.

A fabulous property which was very comfortable. Having the tv snd oven working Would have made it perfect.

Pros: Great location. Fabulous property. Amazing balcony and furniture. Plenty of space.

Cons: We could not get the two televisions or oven to work. The remotes may have needed batteries but it would be useful for the staff to check that before they hand over to the next clients. It would be useful to have instructions on how to use the oven. Although we phoned up about the oven they could not help us. There was also no toaster so we could not make toast for breakfast.

Clean, comfortable, quiet. Good value for money

Pros: The apartment was clean, comfortable and (generally) well equipped. Check-in was easy and free of hassle. The neighbourhood was quiet - a big plus for me. I need my sleep on holiday! The apartment was very good value for money.

Cons: A couple of additional items of equipment would be useful: hand soap and chopping board :) Instructions for air con in bed room Otherwise fine

Pros: The appartment was new, cozzy and very clean. It was even better than apeared in pictures. The balcony is big with comfortable sitting area. The bed was great! Everything was perfect! Privet parking under the bulding!

Immer noch eine schöne Unterkunft, allerdings mit viel unnötiger Kommunikation

Pros: Auch bei unserem dritten Aufenthalt (davor 2024 Herbst und Winter) haben wir uns weitgehend sehr wohl hier gefühlt. Die entsprechenden Bewertungen von Hanna und Michael lassen sich hier leicht finden, daher nur in Kürze: geräumige Unterkunft, gutes Bett, drei kleine Flaschen Wasser zur Begrüßung, angenehm ruhige Lage (vor allem an den Feiertagen wegen des deutlich geringeren Verkehrs). Sehr schöner großer Balkon, der einen auch im Winter schon den Morgenkaffee in der Sonne genießen lässt. Die bei den letzten beiden Malen fehlenden Nachttischlampen haben wir diesmal vorher angefragt und es war eine nagelneue Lampe auf einem Nachttisch. Localhost hat in aller Regel sehr schnell reagiert. Die meisten Kontakte waren sehr freundlich. Rest siehe unten.

Cons: Wir buchen oft Monate im Voraus. Daher haben wir im letzten Dezember nicht explizit nach der Kaution gefragt und wurden auf der Hinreise beim Zwischenstopp auf dem Flughafen damit konfrontiert. Die übliche Erinnerung, die man vor der Anreise bekommt, hatte damals jedenfalls nicht geklappt. Da wir auch noch keine Zugangsdaten hatten, musste das dann alles auf die Schnelle und unterwegs passieren. Wir dachten, dieses Jahr schlauer zu sein und haben bereits knapp zwei Wochen vor Anreise um den link für die Kaution gebeten. Hat nicht geklappt, also zweiter link, der hat funktioniert. Beim ersten link wären nur 200 Euro geblockt worden, bei unserem Vorgehen wurden 200 Euro abgebucht. Grundsätzlich kein Problem. Dann aber kamen wieder keine Zugangsdaten. Am Anreisetag mussten wir diese wieder anfordern. Das ist lästig. Noch lästiger ist es, wenn man dann mehrfach per Booking-Nachricht weiterhin aufgefordert wird, die Kaution zu zahlen, obwohl das schon zwei Wochen vorher geschehen ist. Und die Krönung zum Schluss: es wurden offenbar 5,75 Euro Bankgebühren abgezogen von der Kautions-Rückerstattung. So etwas ist eigentlich nicht zulässig. Wir hatten am Ende drei WhatsApp-Nummern von Localhost. Eigentlich möchte man nur entspannt Urlaub machen, dann artet es doch in sehr viel Kommunikation aus. Immerhin waren zwei der drei Kanäle ausgesprochen freundlich. Unser Dank dafür. Ansonsten sieht die Wohnung inzwischen etwas „gebrauchter“ aus als vor einem Jahr. Viele Striche an den Wänden (einige Leute können offenbar ihre Koffer nicht sachgemäß handhaben), Flecken auf den Sofas. Alles Kleinigkeiten, aber wir wollen sie genauso erwähnen wie die wirklich dreckigen Fenster in der Küche und an der Balkonglasfront.
